My nieces quilt.

I knew I wanted to make my sister a quilt for her baby. I searched and searched for just the right fabric and finally found the Sweetwater Hometown line. It's perfect, with a few additions from JoAnn. I think choosing fabrics is my favorite part of quilting.

Then I needed to decide on a pattern. I love the quilt I made for Sara, using Crazy Mom Quilts' ragged squares quilt tutorial.

I love it. It's so soft and cuddly. I also really love the back. I stitched the date and who it was from onto muslin, and using a blanket stitch, added it to the back.

I can't wait to see the sweet baby snuggling with her quilt.
