Tohoku Tote "Create With Me"

The first tote I have ever made was the Tohoku Tote.  I loved it so much, I made 3!  So when I saw the "Create With Me" project was the Tohoku Tote, I decided I needed to make one more.  The other totes I have made were gifts, this one is all mine.

I love the black and white fabric!  I got in in the upholstery section at JoAnn.  I find it easier to use than regular cotton.  The interior is plain bright red cotton.  I added 2 large pockets on the inside to hold all my mommy goodies.  This pattern is great!  I'm sure this won't be my last bag.

Take 1:
The only problem I had with this was I used steam on the interfacing with the gray cotton and it wrinkled pretty bad. Lesson learned.

Take 2:

This one went pretty well. The only problem was while sewing around the top. It doesn't look so hot, but after sewing and unpicking about 4 times, I was done.

Take 3:
This one went well.

This was such an easy pattern to follow. I will definitely be making more totes!
